Privacy
What we collect, and what we don’t.
We publish what we pay for green coffee, so it would be strange to be cagey about this. Here is everything.
The short version
This site has no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no third-party cookies. The typefaces are served from our own domain rather than Google’s. We count page views, and nothing about that is tied to you personally — the detail is in section 05.
The only personal information we hold is what you type into the inquiry form and send us. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or hand it to anyone who is not helping us answer you.
What we collect
What you send us
The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, the date and kind of occasion, roughly how many guests, and where it is. Your phone number and anything you tell us about the day are optional. Nothing on the form is collected without you typing it.
Ordinary server records
Our host keeps standard web-server logs — the page requested, the time, a browser identifier and an IP address. Every website has these. We do not use them to build a picture of you, and we do not connect them to anything you have sent us.
What we do not collect
No accounts, no passwords, no payment details, no location, no advertising identifiers. There is no checkout on this site, so we never see a card number.
Where it goes
An inquiry becomes two emails: one to us, and one straight back to you confirming what you sent. Both are sent and stored through Microsoft 365, which is where our mail already lives.
The site is hosted and served by Vercel, which keeps the ordinary server records described above. Cloudflare answers the lookup that turns tovcoffeeco.com into an address your browser can reach, and nothing more — the pages themselves never pass through it.
If you follow the shipping link, you leave this site for our shop on Square, and Square’s own privacy terms govern what happens there — including anything to do with payment. The same is true of the Instagram and Facebook links in the footer.
How long we keep it
Inquiries stay in our mailbox. Quoting an event, and then actually turning up to it months later, means the correspondence has to survive — and we would rather have the history than make you re-explain your day.
If you would like your inquiry deleted, say so and we will delete it. You can also ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. There is no form for this and no waiting period beyond the time it takes to read your message.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Nothing to accept, and no banner asking you to accept it.
We do count visits, using Vercel Web Analytics — Vercel being the company that already serves you these pages, so no further party is involved. It records that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world from, and what kind of device — no cookies, no identifier, and nothing that follows you between sites.There is no profile of you being built.
We use it to know which pages are worth writing more of. That is the whole ambition.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging coffee. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and it will be removed.
Asking us
Questions about any of this, or a request to see or delete what we hold, go to a person rather than a department.
