Pricing Transparency
Our coffee is not cheap and we don't think it should be. Everything has a cost and we want to be mindful of who pays that cost. Cheap goods and services can have a devastating impact on the people who produce them. At Tov we want you to feel confident in your purchase and understand where your money is going.
We take great care to source of coffee from importers who have a consistent track record of traceability and ensure the farmers are paid fairly. We openly provide the cost we are paying for our green coffees and the costs associated with each product. See our coffees page for current green coffee pricing for each coffee we offer.

Green Coffee Price: 12.58/lb
Roasted Coffee Price: $14.8/lb (assuming 15% weight loss during roasting)
Packaging: $3.12 (jar, lid, label)
Roasting cost $2.13/lb (electricity cost, equipment cost)
Staff wages $4.17 (assuming ~$20/hr wage, roasting and packaging)*
Total Cost : $24.22 for a 1 pound package assuming 0% profit for the business.
* We hope to reduce this cost soon (and lower our prices accordingly) as we scale to a larger roaster
